LEVEL 1: INTRO TO AGSCIENCE
In this introductory course, students are exposed to units of study relative to both Agriculture majors. Employing hands-on study, coupled with science principles in soil, water, plants, animals, & wildlife, students finish this course with a complete understanding of agriculture.
LEVEL 2/3: SMALL ANIMAL CARE
This course & the following one may be switched in the order taken with no penalty to the student. Small Animal Care introduces students to the companion animal industry, their health care & nutritional needs. In addition, students are permitted to bring in their own canines for grooming when the Grooming Unit is taught.
LEVEL 2/3: ANIMAL SCIENCE
Animal Science exposes students to the livestock & food animal industry. An emphasis is placed on production livestock management, nutrition, & end product. Students are able to apply learning concepts to the livestock residing in the school's barn.
LEVEL 4: PRE-VET
This course prepares students to enter the veterinary medicine field, whether it be as a kennel worker, vet technician, or continuing education to become a veterinarian. Emphasis is placed on experiential learning by placing students at the work site with local veterinary clinics.
LEVEL 1: INTRO TO AGSCIENCE

LEVEL 2/3: ENVIRONMENTAL NATURAL RESOURCES
ENR exposes students to specific concepts related to forestry, soils, water, and environmental education. In addition, the Hunter Safety Education course is taught, leading to students having the opportunity to test for their Hunter Safety Certification, which permits students to receive their hunting licenses.
LEVEL 2/3: WILDLIFE SCIENCE
Emphasis is placed on the management of wildlife for recreation purposes: hunting, fishing, & observation. Students are exposed to species native to South Carolina. A major portion of the course prepares students to construct a wildlife management plan, using knowledge gained through hands-on work in the school forest.
LEVEL 4: OUTDOOR RECREATION
Students are given the opportunity to experience many aspects of outdoor recreation in this course, such as climbing, kayaking, & hiking. In addition, they learn to operate recreational facilities, teach outdoor skills, & conduct camping programs.
LEVEL 5: INTERNSHIP
Students are given the opportunity to be placed with an organization or company whose purpose & mission matches the student's career goals. The internship is supervised, real-world work opportunity at its best.
